8501 to 11400, MOCA

The stencils were photographed from the passenger seat of my car, in the same manner I have experienced Carnegie Avenue between E. 85th and E. 71st for many years.

The gold leaf appears only on the inside of the gallery. It represents the old neighborhood, the red ink is a nod to the Chili Red paint on the metal. MOCA curators have had to consider this red for when hanging shows in the Ginn Gallery the past 30 years.

Photos: MOCA Cleveland, except where noted.
